The Oglethorpe - Five Story Gift Tower
The inspiration behind “The Oglethorpe” can be traced back to the esteemed founding father of Savannah, General James Oglethorpe.
We name this decadent five-story story tower The Oglethorpe because it is fit for a founding father.
In 1733, he set foot on a bluff along the Savannah River, officially staking claim to the 13th and concluding American Colony. Bestowing the name Georgia in honor of England's King George II, Oglethorpe played a pivotal role in shaping the original blueprint for the city of Savannah and the layout of the squares adorning the historic district.
